Our Story
We are an independent family-run restaurant with a passion for Spanish cuisine, produce and culture. At tapas3 you can find freshly made food full of flavours from Andalucía, Galicia, Asturias and beyond. We’re foodies at heart and pride ourselves on creating quality classic and contemporary dishes. We provide an authentic Spanish experience with live Flamenco tablaos and guitar performances, leaving you with a real taste of Spain.
Events
Paella Sundays
Enjoy a Paella for two with us, cooked to order and served the traditional way – in the dish. Available every Sunday.
We also offer traditional tapas menu, and our full range of Spanish drinks, so you can quietly enjoy a glass Please note that we exclusively serve Paella on Sundays and our tapas menu is not available.
Private Dining
We have a great private dining space at tapas3 which holds up to 50 standing or 30 seated. Host intimate gatherings, celebrations or corporate events in our venue, where you can indulge in an authentic Spanish tasting menu or a variety of pintxos and Spanish drinks. We tailor each event to suit your needs, to create a memorable dining experience and occasion for you and your guests.
Flamenco
Live music
Join us for live music, cocktails & tapas in our studio lounge – open weekends. The studio offers multi-genre live music in an intimate setting. Stay in touch for the latest news and updates.
Fringe
Flamenco is at the heart of our restaurant. Owner Saliha has long-standing ties to the flamenco and Spanish communities here in Edinburgh. During the Fringe Festival in August we have two live shows per day, at 4.30pm and 7pm.
Dance classes
Our sister venue AlbaFlamenca has been hosting vibrant flamenco classes for all levels and ages for over 20 years. The term runs from September – May and finishes with an end of year showcase for all students at Churchill theatre.
